As Kamii comments, Educators are under the illusion that they are teaching arithmetic when all they are really teaching are the most superficial aspects such as specific sums (4+4=8, 4+5=9…) and the conventional meaning of written signs (e.g., 4 and +).. .. PowerPoint is a program that allows the teacher to put together a presentation to present to the class on a computer projector. (NBCDET) Students’ working in groups is another way a teacher can enforce a lesson plan.
